Delete your account

How to delete it

Sign in, in the app or at storemingle.com, and choose Delete account in your account settings. It takes effect immediately, and you do not need to contact support.

If you cannot sign in, email privacy@storemingle.com from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.

A copy of your data first

Deletion cannot be undone. If you want a copy of what we hold, download it from the same account settings before you delete.

What is removed

• Your sign-in, so the account can no longer be used
• Your profile, from every surface it appeared on
• Your contact details and profile picture
• Your privacy settings and notification preferences
• The verification documents you uploaded: the licences, tax certificates and resale permits themselves
• Credit terms, account numbers and notes a business recorded about you
• Files you attached to messages
• Draft orders, which are cancelled so no one is left waiting on them

What is kept, and why

StoreMingle is a wholesale marketplace. Closing your account does not erase another business’s records of dealing with you, because those are their accounting and legal records, not yours:

• Orders you placed, kept by the businesses you traded with for 7 years, with the name and shipping details as they stood when each order was placed
• Messages you sent, kept by the business that received them, showing your name as it appeared at the time, as it would keep an email
• Your verification record for 7 years: the business details and tax identification number read from your documents, what the review found, and any licence you attested. The documents themselves are deleted

Deleted information also remains in encrypted daily backups for 7 days before ageing out. We do not use it while it is there.

Closing a seller or organizer account removes you, not the business you belong to. The business and its records continue.
