StoreMingle Community Guidelines
Last Modified: September 15, 2026
StoreMingle is where wholesale businesses meet, exhibit and trade. These guidelines say what good behaviour looks like here. They sit alongside the Acceptable Use Policy, which is the binding list of what is prohibited; where the two differ, the AUP governs.
One thing to know up front: buyers and vendors are dealing with each other's businesses, not with us. We are not a party to your transactions and we do not hold your money. What we do is keep this a place where a wholesale buyer can trust what they see.
1. Selling well
Describe goods accurately. Brand, origin, condition, composition, case pack, minimum order quantity, lead time. A buyer ordering a pallet is relying on your description in a way a consumer buying one unit is not.
Show the actual product. Use your own photography or imagery you are licensed to use. Do not use a competitor's images, a manufacturer's images you have no right to, or images that depict a different variant than the one you are selling.
Price honestly. A "deal" price should be a real reduction from a real price. Do not manufacture scarcity or invent demand.
Sell what you may sell. Hold the licences, distribution rights and certifications your category requires. If a product is regulated where your buyer is, say so in the listing description.
Honour what you agree. If you confirm an order, fulfil it on the terms agreed or tell the buyer promptly. Repeated failure to fulfil, chronic late shipping, or going silent after confirming is a pattern we may act on.
Do not sell: counterfeits, stolen goods, recalled goods, or anything you cannot lawfully transfer.
2. Buying well
Order in good faith. Place orders you intend to complete on the terms you agreed.
Pay as agreed. Payment happens between you and the vendor, outside StoreMingle. Chronic non-payment reported by multiple vendors is something we may investigate.
Represent your business honestly. Your verification documents must be genuine and yours. Organizers set their own verification requirement for joining a show, so a document that is not yours puts you somewhere the organizer did not admit you.
Leave reviews you earned. Review based on a real transaction and your real experience.
3. Live sessions
Live is the part of the product where people are most exposed, so the standards are highest.
If you host:
- You are responsible for what happens in your booth — what you broadcast, what you bring on air, and how your team behaves.
- Bring buyers on air with intent, not to embarrass them.
- Use the mute control when you need it. You can undo your own mute — but if a guest has muted themselves, that is theirs to undo, not yours.
- Do not broadcast music, film or other material you are not licensed to broadcast.
If you go on air:
- The host and their team see and hear you. Everyone else watching hears you. Your name, company and profile image are visible to the whole audience.
- You can leave the seat or turn off your camera or microphone at any time.
Everyone:
- Do not record, screenshot or re-transmit another participant. We do not record live sessions (see the Privacy Policy §4.1). Capturing one yourself and sharing it is a violation, and it is the one part of a live session we cannot prevent technically — which is why it matters that people don't.
- Keep chat civil. Live chat is stored.
- Do not bring anyone on camera who has not agreed to appear.
4. Treating people well
No harassment. No abuse, threats, intimidation, or piling on. This applies in booths, in chat, in comments, in reviews and in direct messages.
No hate. Nothing that attacks or demeans people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or any comparable characteristic.
No doxxing. Do not publish someone's personal information — home address, personal phone, identity documents — or information about a business obtained through the Services beyond the relationship it was provided for.
Disagree properly. Trade disputes happen. Take them up with the counterparty, or report them to us. Do not use reviews, comments or a live audience as leverage.
5. Using the platform honestly
No manipulation. Do not inflate views, engagement, ratings or rankings, or coordinate with others to do so.
No fake reviews. Yours or anyone else's, positive or negative.
No ban evasion. If we suspend an account, do not come back under another one. Creating a new account to evade enforcement is treated more seriously than the original violation.
No misuse of reporting. Reporting is for genuine concerns. Mass-reporting a competitor is itself a violation.
No spam. Do not use messaging, comments or booth chat to broadcast unrelated offers or to harvest contacts.
6. Reporting and blocking
Report anything that breaks these guidelines using the report control on the item — a short, a comment on a short, a live session, a message or a member. Reports go to our staff. You can also report a product review from the review itself. Product listings, storefronts and individual booth-chat messages do not yet have a report control; email support@storemingle.com for those.
Block a member you do not want to hear from. Blocking stops them contacting you.
7. What happens when someone breaks the rules
Depending on what happened and what came before:
remove the content → warn → restrict a feature → suspend the account → terminate the business's access → refuse re-registration
We may also report to law enforcement. Some things skip the ladder: child sexual abuse material, credible threats of violence, and fraud. For those we may act immediately, up to and including terminating the business's access.
This is the ladder in Terms of Service §9(c), which is canonical.
We are not obliged to monitor, and acting on one report does not commit us to acting on every similar one. We do read what is reported.
8. Appeals
If we act against your content or account and you think we got it wrong, write to support@storemingle.com with what happened, within 30 days of our notice. A person will review it and we will respond within 15 business days.
